Vesilute, also designated as H-Glu-Asp-OH or α-glutamyl aspartic moiety acid (referred to as ED dipeptide for short), is a synthetic two-amino-acid peptide composed of glutamic acid and aspartic acid. It was developed as a member of the Khavinson peptide bioregulator family, which was originally discovered and characterized by Russian gerontologist Vladimir Khavinson in the 1970s.
